I love my hometown of Asheboro and everything that makes our city so special. As a Class of 1987 Blue Comet, my roots run deep.
I grew up in a little house on Meadowbrook,
the daughter of Bobby and Betty Short.
I met and married my forever love, Veteran, Jimmy Vuncannon right here on Fayetteville Street after a Super Bowl game and we married in First Baptist Church of Asheboro in 1993.
We are members of Sunset Avenue Church of God. We live in the heart of Greystone with our four rescues, Lady, Diamond, Lovey, and Molly, our three-legged chunk of happiness.
